Everything we make in stone
It starts with the two mats. The Stone Ritual pieces finish the counter and the vanity around them — same diatomaceous earth, same matte finish, same job: take the water and let it go.

Stone Ritual · Kitchen
Around the sink.
The counter gets as wet as the dishes do. These take the splashes, the rings and the soap drips, so the whole surface dries instead of just the mat.
Stone Ritual · Bath
On the vanity.
Brushes drip, bottles sweat and the bar of soap sits in a puddle. Stone under each of them means nothing on the counter stays wet.
The material
Diatomite. A quietly remarkable stone.
Diatomite is a soft, naturally porous stone formed from fossilised algae. It draws water away from a surface and releases it back to the room, quietly, without fabric or fans.
Dense
Substantial, stable underfoot.
Matte
A mineral finish that never feels glossy.
Mineral
A diatomite-based stone surface, naturally matte.
Dry
Releases moisture back to the air.
Setup & care
Three quiet steps.
A rigid stone surface asks a little of you: lift it with both hands, let air reach it, and it stays at its best.
1
Set it on its pad
Place the included pad on a clean, dry surface — beside the sink, or on the floor outside the shower — and center the mat on it.
2
Water absorbs, then evaporates
Drips and footprints darken the surface as the porous stone draws them in; the moisture then releases to the air as it dries. Drying time varies with water, airflow and humidity.
3
Lift, dry, refresh
Lift the mat now and then so both sides dry. Rinse with clean water, and lightly renew the surface with the included refresh pad when absorption slows.

Love this drying rack!
I’ve had several drying rack stones. I love that this one doesn’t have anything on top of it to make it difficult to clean. It looks beautiful on my counter! I did add my old “dorai” dish rack with utensil holder. Doesn’t match but...

Better than a cloth mat.
I like it. I was having trouble with the cloth mats getting moldy & stinky.

Dries fast and saves counter space
This drying mat ended up being more useful than I expected. The stone surface dries water much faster than a regular fabric mat, so it keeps the counter from staying wet and messy. I liked that it felt cleaner and more low maintenance than...

Good Option to Replace a Rug
I have had this stone mat for about a month now. I was tired of the constant mildew battle with rugs in front of the shower and decided to give the stone bath mat a try. So far, so good with no mildew or...

Nice stone shower mat!
This is a nice large stone bath mat with quick drying features. The material has a wicking effect and is good to step onto. It is not quite the same as a fluffy mat, but it is clean and does not pick up any...

Questions
Good to know.
What is in the Stone Collection?
The two mats — the Kitchen Drying Mat for the counter and the Stone Bath Mat for the floor — plus the Stone Ritual accessories that sit around them: a faucet mat, a sink caddy, coasters, a vanity tray, a toothbrush cup and a soap tray.
Do the accessories work without a mat?
Yes — each one absorbs on its own. Every stone piece is discounted automatically at checkout, with or without a mat, and a full set is priced lower still.
Will everything arrive together?
Not always. The mats and the accessories ship from different warehouses, so an order with both usually arrives in more than one parcel. Your cart and your confirmation email list each delivery window, and you get tracking for every shipment.
How do I clean them?
Rinse under warm water and let the piece air dry. When absorption slows or the surface looks marked, give it a light pass with fine sandpaper. Skip bleach, soap films and oils — they fill the pores and slow the stone down.
What is your return policy?
You may request a return within 30 days of delivery. Change-of-mind returns must be unused, in new, resalable condition, complete, and in the original packaging. For orders under $79 you pay return shipping; for orders of $79 or more we provide a prepaid label. See our Returns & Refunds page.
